Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Evert Holmstedt got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Evert Holmstedt notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Bergby's Paul Karlstedt. Paul Karlstedt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Per Pettersson managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Bergby's Aaron Tomasson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Bergby's zone, Evert Holmstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Karlstedt came out of the goal and Evert Holmstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 14 played minutes Sandöverken got a freekick which was hit by Rolf Hård. The crowd rose to their feet as Bergby's Allan Jonsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Per Pettersson. That made the score 1-1 after 15 minutes of play. Per Pettersson made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Aaron Tomasson sent off a good shot on target. Niclas Abrahamsson's late challenge caught a Sandöverken's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niclas Abrahamsson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bergby getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Niclas Abrahamsson hit a great ball. Paul Karlstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evert Holmstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sandöverken were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Bergby's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Allan Öfverman took the corner. The corner led Sandöverken's Allan Öfverman to fire away a dangerous shot which Paul Karlstedt despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Åke Mårtensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aaron Tomasson struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Per Pettersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bergby. Rolf Hård kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Per Pettersson made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Aaron Tomasson sent off a good shot on target. If Aaron Tomasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aaron Tomasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per Pettersson having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Allan Jonsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Per Pettersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Jonsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Jonsson in the 54th minute of play forced Sandöverken's goalkeeper Per Pettersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute, Harald Wikander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Per Pettersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Tomasson in the 56th minute of play. Sandöverken's Åke Mårtensson got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Åke Mårtensson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paul Karlstedt was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Åke Mårtensson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paul Karlstedt having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Sandöverken's Evert Holmstedt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paul Karlstedt. That made the score 1-3 after 76 minutes of play. The supporters of Sandöverken booed when Bergby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Åke Vikström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evert Holmstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evert Holmstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Paul Karlstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute Allan Jonsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per Pettersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
