After having played for 27 minutes, Edvin Hägg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grangärde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edvin Hägg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kjell Hökkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Marcus Hermansson took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Håkan Jespersson . Håkan Jespersson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Hunna United's zone, Kjell Willig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olov Östensson came out of the goal and Kjell Willig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hunna United's Olov Östensson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Hunna United from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Hunna United's Rickard Drewitz got a free kick in the 44th minute. Edvin Hägg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Olov Östensson firmly grabbed it by the left post.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Harry Helström to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Hunna United's goal looked a bit too open when Edvin Hägg came free, but Olov Östensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 played minutes Hunna United got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Åke Grönlund. After 59 minutes, Edvin Hägg made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Hunna United's Olov Östensson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Olov Östensson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Grangärde's Kjell Willig shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After 66 played minutes Hunna United got a freekick which was hit by Kjell-Arne Björkdahl. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Håkan Jespersson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Edvin Hägg struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Olov Östensson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grangärde. 87 minutes into the match, Grangärde's goalkeeper Håkan Jespersson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcus Hermansson. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Hermansson got free with Håkan Jespersson in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hunna United's goalkeeper Olov Östensson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hunna United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Grangärde.
