With his leg Ingmar Wickander managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Hunna United's Marcus Hermansson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Leo Gustafsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Olov Östensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rolf Holmberg came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Jax FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolf Holmberg couldn't finish the play. August Svensson's late challenge caught a Hunna United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. August Svensson helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Helström in the 27th minute of play forced Jax FC's goalkeeper Ingmar Wickander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 played minutes Jax FC got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Erik Alfors. Harry Helström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Rolf Holmberg made a precise shot to the right of Olov Östensson. Hunna United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Olov Nordin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olov Östensson having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Marcus Hermansson struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Ingmar Wickander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hunna United. Ingmar Wickander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Helström in the 54th minute of the match. Harry Helström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingmar Wickander having to interfere. After having played for 58 minutes, Marcus Hermansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hunna United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Hermansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Harry Helström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingmar Wickander having to interfere. Jax FC's Ingmar Wickander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Helström in the 65th minute of play. Hunna United's Olov Östensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Gustafsson in the 67th minute of play. Harry Helström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ingmar Wickander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Rolf Holmberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jax FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rolf Holmberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olov Östensson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute, Leo Gustafsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th match minute, Hunna United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Åke Grönlund to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Hunna United's Olov Östensson got control of the ball when Rolf Holmberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hunna United's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
