Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Josef Hammarbäck took the kick off in the first half of the match. Christer Dahlgren hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute Frillesås IF were awarded a corner. Henry Olsson went to the cornerflag to take it. When De Finska Lejonen's Herbert Eriksson in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Frillesås IF's goalie prevented a goal. Herbert Eriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Anders Byström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute Konrad Gerdberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Byström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Konrad Gerdberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herbert Eriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Anders Byström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Konrad Gerdberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Byström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herbert Eriksson might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anders Byström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Herbert Eriksson ran back to his position shaking his head. Anders Byström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konrad Gerdberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Herbert Eriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Finska Lejonen's supporters rose to their feet, but Herbert Eriksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anders Byström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Herbert Eriksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anders Byström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Eriksson in the 36th minute of play. When De Finska Lejonen's Konrad Gerdberg in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Frillesås IF's goalie prevented a goal. 42 minutes into the match, De Finska Lejonen's Konrad Gerdberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anders Byström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Konrad Gerdberg sped through Frillesås IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anders Byström. Frillesås IF's Anders Byström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Eriksson in the 47th minute of play. After the first half De Finska Lejonen were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Konrad Gerdberg was the one to do the kick off. Herbert Eriksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Anders Byström made a huge save. Herbert Eriksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stig-Arne Ahlstedt during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Frillesås IF booed when De Finska Lejonen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Arne Ahlstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrian Stål showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josef Hammarbäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. If Herbert Eriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Stål took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oskar Aleberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Konrad Gerdberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Byström having to interfere. After 79 played minutes Frillesås IF got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Rune Ivarsson. Frillesås IF's Anders Byström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Frillesås IF from getting a goal against them. After 94 minutes of play, De Finska Lejonen's Herbert Eriksson made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anders Byström was left in no man's land by his defense there! De Finska Lejonen's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
