Adrian Stål was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adrian Stål took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Wahlnäs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th match minute, De Finska Lejonen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Eriksson to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Herbert Eriksson notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Vaggeryd's Stig-Ove Siggesson. Stig-Ove Siggesson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knut Heggert in the 19th minute of play forced De Finska Lejonen's goalkeeper Adrian Stål to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harry Askberg hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Adrian Stål made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knut Heggert in the 23rd minute of play. Stig-Ove Siggesson had great luck who in the 25thth minute grab hold of the ball when Konrad Gerdberg from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 29th match minute, Vaggeryd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Vennersten to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Konrad Gerdberg in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stig-Ove Siggesson saved Vaggeryd from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Konrad Gerdberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Konrad Gerdberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stig-Ove Siggesson having to make a save. Herbert Eriksson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Stig-Ove Siggesson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fritz Nordström hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Konrad Gerdberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Stig-Ove Siggesson came out and tried to block the shot, but Konrad Gerdberg slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 43rd minute. Adrian Stål didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Vaggeryd's Knut Heggert shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-2 in the ordered_time% minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Knut Heggert was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Hubert Blom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herbert Eriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Stig-Ove Siggesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Konrad Gerdberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stig-Ove Siggesson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Eriksson in the 62nd minute of play forced Vaggeryd's goalkeeper Stig-Ove Siggesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Herbert Eriksson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Stig-Ove Siggesson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Konrad Gerdberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stig-Ove Siggesson was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Konrad Gerdberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 69 played minutes Vaggeryd got a freekick which was hit by Hubert Blom. In the 70th minute, Herbert Eriksson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Eriksson in the 75th minute of play forced Vaggeryd's goalkeeper Stig-Ove Siggesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fritz Nordström's late challenge caught a Vaggeryd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fritz Nordström helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to De Finska Lejonen getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Fritz Nordström hit a great ball. Adrian Stål made an important save on a dangerous shot by Konrad Wahlnäs in the 81st minute. In the 84th match minute, Vaggeryd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Askberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vaggeryd's goalkeeper Stig-Ove Siggesson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 93 minutes into the game, Herbert Eriksson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Stig-Ove Siggesson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Konrad Gerdberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. There was no doubt that De Finska Lejonen were the better team. De Finska Lejonen's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
