When Åke Vik fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kinnahult's protests and gave Åke Vik a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Barcelona booed when Kinnahult was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Vik didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute of the match Lars-Erik Carlsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Simon Berglund skillfully saved the ball. Knut Apelquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Vik, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute.
