The supporters of Svanavattnet IFK booed when Brunflo IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustav Julin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 minutes of play, Svanavattnet IFK's Fritz Bergström made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edward Larsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 22 minutes into the match, Alvin Örtendahl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bo Brun. Svanavattnet IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvin Örtendahl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Folke Bergfelt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Bo Brun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute Ingvar Falk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bo Brun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Ingvar Falk notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Svanavattnet IFK's Bo Brun. Bo Brun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ingmar Snäll made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Alvin Örtendahl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ingvar Falk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute, Brunflo IFK's Gustav Julin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bo Brun. Bo Brun yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. After 72 minutes, Melker Larsfelt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brunflo IFK and the Svanavattnet IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Brunflo IFK's Edward Larsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingmar Snäll in the 75th minute of play. If Ingmar Snäll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bo Brun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Falk in the 83rd minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Brunflo IFK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
