Emanuel Uggla started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the game, Sven-Ove Bålström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jörlanda IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Exercitus the free kick. Exercitus's Wictor Vallengren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Uggla in the 11th minute of play. Olof Andersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaj Forsell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Exercitus's Paul Möllgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olof Andersson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jörlanda IK's Olof Andersson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Jörlanda IK from getting a goal against them. Emanuel Uggla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wictor Vallengren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Uggla, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The supporters of Jörlanda IK booed when Exercitus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christopher Ambjörnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torsten Högman was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 31st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Exercitus's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Uggla came free, but Wictor Vallengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th match minute, Exercitus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rutger Billing to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute Paul Möllgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olof Andersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paul Möllgren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Exercitus's Wictor Vallengren got control of the ball when Leif Lundström tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Möllgren in the 61st minute of play forced Jörlanda IK's goalkeeper Olof Andersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 played minutes Exercitus got a freekick which was hit by Christopher Ambjörnsson. In the 68th minute of the match Torsten Högman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wictor Vallengren skillfully saved the ball. In the 77th minute, Kaj Forsell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Jörlanda IK's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Möllgren came free, but Olof Andersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Exercitus's Wictor Vallengren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Exercitus from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Exercitus booed when Jörlanda IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Ove Bålström didn't get a good kick on the ball.
