Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Mark Stenqvist successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Timmy Wall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 11 played minutes Klädesholmen BF got a freekick which was hit by Roland Haström. Georg Boberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mark Stenqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Georg Boberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Timmy Wall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olof Forsberg charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olof Forsberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 18 minutes into the match, Per-Arne Berggren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mark Stenqvist. Klädesholmen BF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Per-Arne Berggren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Lennart Sundin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tony Arvidsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Tage Biörkquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Tony Arvidsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Georg Boberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Mark Stenqvist made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Klädesholmen BF's Harry Carlberg got a free kick in the 36th minute. Mark Stenqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timmy Wall, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 40th match minute, Psv Everton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustav Vassenius to maneuver through the defense. Ted Björkman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tage Biörkquist having to make a save. In the 44th minute, Timmy Wall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Timmy Wall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Psv Everton booed when Klädesholmen BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ted Björkman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Timmy Wall was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Psv Everton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Klädesholmen BF the free kick. In the 68th match minute, Psv Everton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timmy Wall to maneuver through the defense. Arne Ahlroth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tage Biörkquist having to interfere. After 71 played minutes Psv Everton got a freekick which was hit by Greger Widberg. Psv Everton's Tage Biörkquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Psv Everton from getting a goal against them. 78 minutes into the match, Psv Everton's goalkeeper Tage Biörkquist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ted Björkman. Mark Stenqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timmy Wall, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the game, Psv Everton's Timmy Wall nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mark Stenqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Ted Björkman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Psv Everton had won after a very even match.
