Exercitus's Adrian Söderström shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 12th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tage Biörkquist but with some difficulty. Paul Möllgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tage Biörkquist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paul Möllgren ran back to his position shaking his head. Timmy Wall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wictor Vallengren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Askstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kaj Forsell's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Tage Biörkquist skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Kaj Forsell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paul Möllgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tage Biörkquist having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Exercitus's Herbert Viklund got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After 36 played minutes Exercitus got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Viklund. Georg Boberg scored 0-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wictor Vallengren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 42 minutes into the game, Krister Göransson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Exercitus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Psv Everton the free kick. After a rather tough play, Exercitus's Krister Göransson got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Wictor Vallengren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Georg Boberg's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Wictor Vallengren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmy Wall in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timmy Wall made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Peter Askstedt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Psv Everton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Exercitus the free kick. Peter Askstedt hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the match, Psv Everton's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Möllgren came free, but Tage Biörkquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Psv Everton's Wictor Vallengren threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Timmy Wall, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Georg Boberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 79 minutes, Georg Boberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Psv Everton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Georg Boberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
