If Malcolm Fors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Kämpe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Matsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After 7 played minutes Giant Heron got a freekick which was hit by Niclas Jönsätt. 11 minutes into the match, Magne Anundsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felix Kämpe. Giant Heron's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Magne Anundsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Jonathan Matsson came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Håverud fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Matsson couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the match, Jonathan Matsson notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Giant Heron's Felix Kämpe. Felix Kämpe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Felix Kämpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magne Anundsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Torsten Andreasson during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th minute, Torsten Andreasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 31 minutes, Malcolm Fors managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Giant Heron's supporters crossed their fingers, but Malcolm Fors was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tim Henriksson got free with Ian Wennersten in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ian Wennersten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malcolm Fors in the 36th minute of play. Ian Wennersten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malcolm Fors, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Håverud getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Torsten Andreasson hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Giant Heron's Malcolm Fors dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Malcolm Fors to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kasper Lund during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Giant Heron's Kasper Lund got a free kick in the 55th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Giant Heron's zone, Jonathan Matsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Kämpe came out of the goal and Jonathan Matsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Malcolm Fors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Kämpe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Magne Anundsson in the 69th minute. Felix Kämpe was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rasmus Fredriksson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 72 minute of play. Giant Heron's Tim Henriksson got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Malcolm Fors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giant Heron's Felix Kämpe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Giant Heron from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Giant Heron's Niclas Jönsätt got a free kick in the 94th minute. Jonathan Matsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Felix Kämpe made a huge save. The Giant Heron supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Håverud's performance. The match ended with a win for Håverud.
