In the 4th match minute, Borgholm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petter Gadd to maneuver through the defense. The Stånga BK fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Stånga BK's Joakim Mattsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Petter Gadd came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Harry Ahlén could save by the left post. In the 28th minute, Pontus Pååk made a precise shot to the right of Harry Ahlén. Stånga BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 31 minutes into the match, Stånga BK's goal looked a bit too open when Dag Wallin came free, but Harry Ahlén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Borgholm booed when Stånga BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reine Siöman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reine Siöman's late challenge caught a Borgholm's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stånga BK's attentive John Ahlström managed to snatch the ball when Arne Åberg made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. Esbjörn Falk hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Borgholm's Jonas Dahlquist got control of the ball when Joakim Mattsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonas Dahlquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukas Bergström, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petter Gadd in the 73rd minute of play forced Stånga BK's goalkeeper Harry Ahlén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Borgholm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esbjörn Falk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Borgholm were the better team. Borgholm's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
