Vedevåg RK's Ivar Tidén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pål Bergman in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Brandstorp BK's Pål Bergman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. If Pål Bergman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Knut Olofsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vedevåg RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Knut Olofsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tord Zander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Nicklas Bergström got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Pål Bergman might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivar Tidén. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pål Bergman ran back to his position shaking his head. Ivar Tidén made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Nicklas Bergström sent off a good shot on target. Nicklas Bergström struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Ivar Tidén didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brandstorp BK. Ivar Tidén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pål Bergman in the 35th minute of play. Tord Zander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Knut Olofsson in the 37th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Pål Bergman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ivar Tidén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pål Bergman in the 40th minute of play. After 42 minutes Vedevåg RK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Einar Carlsson who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Vedevåg RK booed when Brandstorp BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Hernström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tord Zander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Knut Olofsson's shot from short distance in the 44th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Knut Olofsson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Pål Bergman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivar Tidén was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 57th minute Nicklas Bergström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Tidén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Pål Bergman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivar Tidén. Vedevåg RK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pål Bergman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Törnkvist got free with Tord Zander in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicklas Bergström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Tidén having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Vedevåg RK's zone, Nicklas Bergström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivar Tidén came out of the goal and Nicklas Bergström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute, Nicklas Bergström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicklas Bergström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pål Bergman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Tidén having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Brandstorp BK had played much better football throughout.
