When Pontus Lindqvist fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tygelsjö's protests and gave Pontus Lindqvist a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bälgviken IK booed when Tygelsjö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pontus Lindqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ulf Erserman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 29 minutes into the match, Tygelsjö's goal looked a bit too open when Ulf Erserman came free, but Fritz Bjurström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sakarias Bryngelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Magnus Ahlqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 36 minutes into the game, Åke Engström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tygelsjö's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bälgviken IK the free kick. In the 36th match minute, Tygelsjö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Engström to maneuver through the defense. Aaron Dahlberg was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 40th minute, Rune Arhenius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Bjursell in the 42nd minute of play forced Bälgviken IK's goalkeeper Sakarias Bryngelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kim Bjursell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulf Erserman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fritz Bjurström having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kim Bjursell to make the kick off. If Kim Bjursell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ulrik Mattsson charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulrik Mattsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tygelsjö booed when Bälgviken IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulrik Mattsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Bälgviken IK's goalkeeper Sakarias Bryngelsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kim Bjursell. A hard shot by Kurt Bolander from long distance, 60 minutes into the match, got Sakarias Bryngelsson's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 60 minutes into the game, Börge Rang was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bälgviken IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tygelsjö the free kick. After a rather tough play, Bälgviken IK's Börge Rang got a free kick in the 60th minute. Kim Bjursell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tygelsjö's Kim Bjursell in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Bälgviken IK's Ulrik Mattsson got his second yellow card of the match in the 75th minute. The referee ordered Ulrik Mattsson off the ground. Ulrik Mattsson hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Bälgviken IK's goal looked a bit too open when Kim Bjursell came free, but Sakarias Bryngelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Magnus Ahlqvist struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Sakarias Bryngelsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tygelsjö. If Kim Bjursell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Bälgviken IK's Rune Arhenius got a free kick in the 90th minute. The Tygelsjö supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tygelsjö would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
