Thor Adelsköld scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Berggren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Per Söderberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vallsta's supporters rose to their feet, but Per Söderberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Birger Carlberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patric Lundkvist was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 12th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Rune Nordlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birger Carlberg having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Harry Bergstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Per Söderberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hammarstrand FK's Birger Carlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Söderberg in the 28th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Hammarstrand FK's Adrian Wallgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Berggren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Vallsta's Rune Nordlund got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Hammarstrand FK's Birger Carlberg got control of the ball when Rune Nordlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Per Söderberg made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Hammarstrand FK's Thor Adelsköld sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Berggren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 55 minutes, Adrian Wallgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hammarstrand FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Wallgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thor Adelsköld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Daniel Berggren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Vallsta's goalkeeper Daniel Berggren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thor Adelsköld. 63 minutes into the match, Hammarstrand FK's goal looked a bit too open when Rune Nordlund came free, but Birger Carlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rune Nordlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Birger Carlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Per Söderberg made a precise shot to the right of Birger Carlberg. Hammarstrand FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Thor Adelsköld got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 89th minute Rune Nordlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birger Carlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Per Söderberg struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Birger Carlberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vallsta. Daniel Berggren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Wallgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, Hammarstrand FK's goal looked a bit too open when Per Söderberg came free, but Birger Carlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chants of Hammarstrand FK echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Vallsta had held the ball for most of the match.
