Aron Bergfelt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Berggren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Vallsta's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Ljungberg came free, but Daniel Berggren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Aron Bergfelt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Daniel Berggren. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Nordlund in the 18th minute of play forced Granö's goalkeeper Göran Skoglund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Göran Skoglund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Nordlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Linus Arvidsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Berggren having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andreas Hedman during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th minute, Andreas Hedman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Berggren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Linus Arvidsson in the 29th minute. Rune Nordlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göran Skoglund having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Per Söderberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Göran Skoglund. Granö's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Per Söderberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Aron Bergfelt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Granö's supporters rose to their feet, but Aron Bergfelt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Berggren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute, Rune Nordlund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aron Bergfelt to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Ralf Simonsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pelle Nyman kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Granö's Linus Vibjörnsson tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mikael Holmgren during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mikael Holmgren kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Linus Vibjörnsson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Christian Ljungberg charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Ljungberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Granö getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Christian Ljungberg hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Per Söderberg fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Per Söderberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göran Skoglund having to interfere. A collision led to Granö getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Christian Ljungberg hit a great ball. Per Söderberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Göran Skoglund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Göran Skoglund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Söderberg in the 94th minute of the match. If Per Söderberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vallsta were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
