Douglas Bocklund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olov Beneth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olof Rosén to make the kick off. Töreboda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Halltorp IFK the free kick. Halltorp IFK's Lars Käller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Lagerberg in the 93rd minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Töreboda left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Halltorp IFK.
