An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvid Göransson in the 5th minute of play forced Hallstahammar's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Viklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Hallstahammar getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Göran Jansson hit a great ball. Tord Ersman struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Jens-Åke Viklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wildboys. In the 15th minute, Tord Ersman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wildboys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Tord Ersman kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Joachim Björnsson had to leave the field with a concussion. Harry Jonasson charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harry Jonasson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute, Harry Jonasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hallstahammar's Jens-Åke Viklund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Hallstahammar from getting a goal against them. A wasted opportunity for Wildboys. 35 minutes into the game, Arvid Göransson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jens-Åke Viklund. Arvid Göransson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 45 minutes into the match, Arvid Göransson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jens-Åke Viklund, 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Arvid Göransson made the kick off in the second half. Hallstahammar's Jens-Åke Viklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvid Göransson in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvid Göransson in the 58th minute of play forced Hallstahammar's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Viklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wildboys's Alexander Hammarbäck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Jansson in the 60th minute of play. Nils Sävström struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Alexander Hammarbäck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hallstahammar. If Tord Ersman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Hallstahammar's Göran Jansson got a free kick in the 70th minute. Tord Ersman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Jens-Åke Viklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Arvid Göransson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wildboys's supporters rose to their feet, but Arvid Göransson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens-Åke Viklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jens-Åke Viklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvid Göransson in the 79th minute of play. Alexander Hammarbäck stood somewhat misplaced when Nils Sävström came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 80 minute. Arvid Göransson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Arvid Göransson came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Wildboys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arvid Göransson couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wildboys's goalkeeper Alexander Hammarbäck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nils Sävström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Alexander Hammarbäck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Wildboys fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hallstahammar had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
