Alexander Hammarbäck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karl-Michael Svanér fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Hammarbäck having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olof Norberg during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th minute Karl-Michael Svanér shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Hammarbäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Michael Svanér ran back to his position shaking his head. 40 minutes into the match, Wildboys's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Thorsberg came free, but Alexander Hammarbäck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tord Ersman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ivar Matsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arvid Göransson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tord Ersman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivar Matsson having to make a save. After having played for 58 minutes, Karl-Michael Svanér managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Storuman's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Michael Svanér was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Storuman's Eric Thorsberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Kennet Snell kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Wildboys's Birger Bruhn broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Karl-Michael Svanér struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Alexander Hammarbäck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Storuman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvid Göransson in the 87th minute of play forced Storuman's goalkeeper Ivar Matsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inge Rolfsson kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 92 minutes into the game, Harry Jonasson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Storuman's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
