The audience was convinced that Tobias Juhlin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ingmar Åström was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ludwig Boman during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 26 minutes, Michael Hääger made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Flyinge FF's Ingmar Åström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Anders Gullesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Biörnberg charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Biörnberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Färjestaden BF getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Staffan Nordström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Söderberg having to interfere. If Michael Hääger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anders Gullesson to strike the kick off in the second half. Robert Örtendahl hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Färjestaden BF's Michael Hääger got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Sivert Bolin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ingmar Åström, passed just outside the right post. Ingmar Åström made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Michael Hääger sent off a good shot on target. Tobias Juhlin hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. A wasted opportunity for Flyinge FF. 2-2 became the score in the 76th minute when Michael Hääger elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Sivert Bolin fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Färjestaden BF's protests and gave Sivert Bolin a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Färjestaden BF's Sivert Bolin got a free kick in the 79th minute. Staffan Nordström scored 3-2 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walter Söderberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
