Folke Harman acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 12th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Pål Skog. 14 minutes into the game, Robert Lidman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Folke Harman. Robert Lidman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Robert Lidman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Harman having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kälarne's zone, Agne Fernström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Folke Harman came out of the goal and Agne Fernström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erland Billvall during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Erland Billvall kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Folke Harman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Lidman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Folke Harman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agne Fernström in the 29th minute of play. Kälarne's Folke Harman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Kälarne from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Kälarne getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Erland Billvall hit a great ball. In the 37th minute of the match Pål Skog shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Folke Harman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Jack Alefors was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kälarne's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brandstorp IF the free kick. After a rather tough play, Kälarne's Jack Alefors got a free kick in the 46th minute. Agne Fernström struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Folke Harman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brandstorp IF. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robert Lidman to strike the kick off in the second half. Brandstorp IF's Tage Thidén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernt Wikander in the 53rd minute of play. Bernt Wikander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Tage Thidén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfred Ånger who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Tage Thidén when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Folke Harman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Lidman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfred Ångers short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Tage Thidén to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 72 minutes into the match, Alfred Ånger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tage Thidén. Brandstorp IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfred Ånger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After having played for 79 minutes, Alfred Ånger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kälarne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfred Ånger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brandstorp IF's Tage Thidén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernt Wikander in the 82nd minute of play. Agne Fernström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Brandstorp IF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bernt Wikander fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Alfred Ånger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tage Thidén having to interfere. Robert Lidman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Harman having to interfere. The supporters of Kälarne booed when Brandstorp IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils-Åke Wik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kälarne were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Brandstorp IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Paul Björling took the corner. Kälarne's Paul Björling was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tage Thidén in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
