Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Åshammar's Birger Stenquist started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Birger Stenquist's late challenge caught a Jönköping FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Birger Stenquist helped the player get up and apologised. After 3 played minutes Åshammar got a freekick which was hit by Birger Stenquist. In the 4th minute, Egon Hagberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Åshammar's Reine Mattsson got control of the ball when Rune Jansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Åshammar's Emanuel Larsson got a free kick in the 6th minute. Åshammar's Emanuel Larsson suffered a sore thigh after 10 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Åshammar booed when Jönköping FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Berg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute of the match Einar Rang sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomas Lundberg skillfully saved the ball. Leonardo Gregersson kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Jönköping FK's Elof Almqvist broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Bergström in the 27th minute of play forced Åshammar's goalkeeper Reine Mattsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Rune Jansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jönköping FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Reine Mattsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rune Jansson in the 36th minute. Reine Mattsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Bergström, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Anton Bergström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rune Jansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reine Mattsson having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anton Bergström to make the kick off. Åshammar's Reine Mattsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Bergström in the 51st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Torbjörn Hellbom during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Jönköping FK's Torbjörn Hellbom got a free kick in the 56th minute. Tomas Lundberg made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Sven-Olof Örnberg sent off a good shot on target. Sven-Olof Örnberg hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Anton Bergström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reine Mattsson having to interfere. After 68 played minutes Jönköping FK got a freekick which was hit by Torbjörn Hellbom. After some careless play in the Jönköping FK defense, Sven-Olof Örnberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomas Lundberg. The Jönköping FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomas Lundberg should have stopped the shot. Reine Mattsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Bergström in the 76th minute of play. Anton Bergström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reine Mattsson came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Jönköping FK's Anton Bergström. But to his dismay, Anton Bergström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Sven-Olof Örnberg took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomas Lundberg. Tomas Lundberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Sven-Olof Örnberg struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Tomas Lundberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Åshammar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
