Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ted Josefsson started the match with the kick off. When Frans Törnqvist came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Malmö FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frans Törnqvist couldn't finish the play. Frans Törnqvist hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Isaac Vollander might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustaf Örnberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaac Vollander ran back to his position shaking his head. After 14 played minutes Frans Törnqvist rounded Storuman's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frans Törnqvist in the 18th minute of play forced Storuman's goalkeeper Gustaf Örnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Engström missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 20 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Thomas Jönsätt right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Storuman's zone, Isaac Vollander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustaf Örnberg came out of the goal and Isaac Vollander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frans Törnqvist in the 26th minute of play forced Storuman's goalkeeper Gustaf Örnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaf Örnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frans Törnqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. If Isaac Vollander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frans Törnqvist was the one to do the kick off. Ted Josefsson scored 2-1 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thomas Jönsätt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Malmö FF's goalkeeper Thomas Jönsätt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Ted Josefsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Storuman's supporters rose to their feet, but Ted Josefsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Jönsätt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hans Rydelius during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Åke Smefeldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Thomas Jönsätt made a huge save. Thomas Jönsätt didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 80th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. Isaac Vollander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frans Törnqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaf Örnberg having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
