Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Rödeby IFK's Markus Nordström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Yngve Billing came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Mjölksyra IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yngve Billing couldn't finish the play. After 7 minutes, Mats Wallmark mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mjölksyra IF and the Rödeby IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mjölksyra IF! 11 minutes into the game, Kåre Sjöberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rödeby IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mjölksyra IF the free kick. The supporters of Mjölksyra IF booed when Rödeby IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kåre Sjöberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 1-1 became the score in the 12th minute when Yngve Billing elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 18th minute Markus Nordström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiph Valler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filiph Valler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markus Nordström in the 19th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes Mjölksyra IF got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Emil Danielsson. If Andreas Söderberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Markus Nordström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Filiph Valler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Markus Nordström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiph Valler having to interfere. If Markus Nordström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pontus Grönberg struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Filiph Valler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rödeby IFK. Jan-Olof Wiklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yngve Billing in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andreas Söderberg made a kick off. Jan-Olof Wiklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yngve Billing in the 52nd minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Mjölksyra IF's Mats Wallmark broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 62 minutes into the match, Yngve Billing had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan-Olof Wiklund. Rödeby IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yngve Billing was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Jan-Olof Wiklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Söderberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th match minute, Rödeby IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kåre Sjöberg to maneuver through the defense. If Yngve Billing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Markus Nordström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiph Valler having to interfere. Rödeby IFK's Pontus Grönberg got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 82 minutes into the game, Markus Nordström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Filiph Valler. Markus Nordström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Pontus Grönberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiph Valler having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Björn Överman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rödeby IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Björn Överman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mjölksyra IF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
