Roy Grönberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but William Lidström made a huge save. 16 minutes into the match, Juoksengi FK's goal looked a bit too open when Herman Glanselius came free, but William Lidström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Herman Glanselius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thomas Alefors received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Hans Lönn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hans Lönn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Alefors, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Thomas Alefors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the match, Juoksengi FK's Thomas Alefors sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hans Lönn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by Juoksengi FK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Johannes Svanström was slow to take the kick. During this time Lilla edet's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Johannes Svanström got away a dangerous shot. Despite this William Lidström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Herman Glanselius was the one to do the kick off. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Hans Lönn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jan-Erik Askstedt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hans Lönn having to make a save. In the 90th play minute Jan-Erik Askstedt came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hans Lönn. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herman Glanselius in the 96th minute of play forced Juoksengi FK's goalkeeper William Lidström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roy Grönberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without William Lidström having to make a save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Juoksengi FK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
