In the 13th minute, Karl-Johan Busk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Tobias Jonsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rydöbruk FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Jonsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andréas Ersman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Tobias Jonsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tived IFK were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Rydöbruk FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jonny Magnusson took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Lucas Vestberg managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Rydöbruk FK's Ronny Gallberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kasper Hallgren in the 41st minute of play. Kasper Hallgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ronny Gallberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Tived IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Johnny Lundgren came free, but Andréas Ersman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edwin Jakobsson to strike the kick off in the second half. The goalkeeper, Ronny Gallberg, was totally fooled by Tived IFK's Jonny Magnusson, who 55 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a rather tough play, Tived IFK's Jonny Magnusson got a free kick in the 58th minute. Andréas Ersman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnny Lundgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, Rydöbruk FK's Tobias Jonsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andréas Ersman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Johnny Lundgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Andréas Ersman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Edwin Jakobsson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rolf Nordström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andréas Ersman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Johnny Lundgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rydöbruk FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Johnny Lundgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andréas Ersman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Johnny Lundgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnny Lundgren in the 92nd minute of play forced Tived IFK's goalkeeper Andréas Ersman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute, Stefan Mager got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Rydöbruk FK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tived IFK's performance. The match ended with a win for Tived IFK.
