Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vilgot Fribäck started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Västerberg in the 3rd minute of play forced Mattmar BF's goalkeeper Hans Askelöf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Mattmar BF booed when Leksand BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vilgot Fribäck didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mattmar BF's goalkeeper Hans Askelöf, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hans Askelöf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilgot Fribäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonatan Arvidsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddie Haeger in the 21st minute of play. Henrik Västerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Hans Askelöf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmund Brun hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 29 played minutes, Mattmar BF's Dag Eliasson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonatan Arvidsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mattmar BF reached it. Hans Askelöf came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Leksand BK's Vilgot Fribäck. But to his dismay, Vilgot Fribäck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Aleksander Haström struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Jonatan Arvidsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mattmar BF. Hjalmar Böcklund kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

57 minutes into the match, Henrik Västerberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hans Askelöf. Mattmar BF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henrik Västerberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 60th minute, Aleksander Haström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mattmar BF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. If Henrik Västerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Mattmar BF's Hans Askelöf got control of the ball when Henrik Västerberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vilgot Fribäck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hans Askelöf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilgot Fribäck in the 76th minute of the match. Freddie Haeger kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Leksand BK's Edmund Brun got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Henrik Västerberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hans Askelöf. Mattmar BF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henrik Västerberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. A collision led to Mattmar BF getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Gilbert Melin hit a great ball. If Vilgot Fribäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aleksander Haström took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonatan Arvidsson. Jonatan Arvidsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
