An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor Vidman in the 18th minute of play forced Eriksfält's goalkeeper Sven Palm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hjalmar Wennerquist kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Sven Palm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hjalmar Wennerquist in the 22nd minute of play. Sven Palm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Åke Söderström in the 25th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ingvar Nyström to make the kick off. Eriksfält's Sven Palm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tor Vidman in the 57th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Vingåker IK's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Nyström came free, but Stefan Lång reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eriksfält's goalkeeper Sven Palm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tor Vidman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Sven Palm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Eriksfält's Conny Hellström got a free kick in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hjalmar Wennerquist in the 93rd minute of play forced Eriksfält's goalkeeper Sven Palm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Hjalmar Wennerquist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
