In the 36th match minute, Långarydssläkten 1989 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uno Sjöberg to maneuver through the defense. Sten Thedin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sune Lindberg having to interfere. A collision led to Borlänge BK getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Börge Tomasson hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yngve Magnusson in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sune Lindberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Michael Juhlin kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Lars Pihlblad struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Billy Lundgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Långarydssläkten 1989.
