The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sebastian Benett showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Peter Lundgren came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Åbroddens SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Lundgren couldn't finish the play. Sebastian Benett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Lundgren in the 13th minute of play. Anders Tunström charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Kurt Hellgren who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Magne Nyberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
