Gärds köpinge BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skara the free kick. A collision led to Gärds köpinge BF getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Torgny Carlsson hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Johansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mathias Beneth was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Kurt Hellgren in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mathias Beneth, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gärds köpinge BF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Sebastian Johansson scored to the left of an out of position Mathias Beneth, making the score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Skara's zone, Henry Broman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Benett came out of the goal and Henry Broman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henry Broman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Benett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Broman in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Skara's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Björk came free, but Sebastian Benett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Skara booed when Gärds köpinge BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Karlstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian Johansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uno Kilberg hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. A collision led to Gärds köpinge BF getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Evert Carlsson hit a great ball. The supporters of Skara booed when Gärds köpinge BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Karlstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henry Broman to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Karl-Åke Söderberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skara's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Åke Söderberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mathias Beneth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Karl-Åke Söderberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute Kurt Hellgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias Beneth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Johansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Uno Kilberg fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gärds köpinge BF's protests and gave Uno Kilberg a yellow card for diving instead. Kurt Hellgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Mathias Beneth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ludwig Wennerström's late challenge caught a Skara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ludwig Wennerström helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Gärds köpinge BF's Ludwig Wennerström got a free kick in the 69th minute. Patrick Karlstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Kurt Hellgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Beneth having to interfere. Skara's Sebastian Johansson got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Kurt Hellgren sped through Gärds köpinge BF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mathias Beneth. Sebastian Johansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 played minutes Gärds köpinge BF got a freekick which was hit by Torgny Carlsson. Kurt Björk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Sebastian Benett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mathias Beneth came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Skara's Sebastian Johansson. But to his dismay, Sebastian Johansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Krister Forsman charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Krister Forsman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Gärds köpinge BF booed when Skara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krister Forsman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kurt Björk got free with Sebastian Benett in the 99th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gärds köpinge BF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Skara.
