Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ulf Grubb started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Västerfärnebo RK's Fred Arhenius slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Birger Billström. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. 7 minutes into the game, Ivar Månsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tjurköpojkarna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Västerfärnebo RK the free kick. After 8 played minutes Tjurköpojkarna got a freekick which was hit by Ivar Månsson. In the 10th minute, one of Tjurköpojkarna:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tjurköpojkarna. After a rather tough play, Västerfärnebo RK's Inge Hjortsberg got a free kick in the 15th minute. Ulf Grubb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birger Billström having to interfere. Ulf Grubb might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Birger Billström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulf Grubb ran back to his position shaking his head. Oscar Hernström struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Birger Billström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Västerfärnebo RK. Agne Lindberg hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Tjurköpojkarna's Birger Billström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Tjurköpojkarna from getting a goal against them.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gottfrid Pettersson to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Västerfärnebo RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Arhenius to maneuver through the defense. Gottfrid Pettersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Browald having to interfere. If Ivar Månsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Västerfärnebo RK's Ulf Grubb sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Birger Billström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Isaac Harlén hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Bernt Gustafsson, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ivar Månsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Anders Browald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Birger Billström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Grubb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Västerfärnebo RK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
