Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Herman Olsson kicked off to start the match. Herman Olsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timmy Dahlman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herman Olsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 20 played minutes Vattubrinken got a freekick which was hit by Urban Juhlin. After recieving a nice pass, Grimsås FK's Niklas Brodin tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Timmy Dahlman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herman Olsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Roger Axelsson's late challenge caught a Grimsås FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roger Axelsson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Roger Axelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grimsås FK's Herman Olsson got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Herman Olsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timmy Dahlman having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Vattubrinken's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Nyqvist came free, but Timmy Dahlman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Vattubrinken's zone, Allan Nyqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timmy Dahlman came out of the goal and Allan Nyqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Timmy Dahlman came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Grimsås FK's Herman Olsson. But to his dismay, Herman Olsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Peter Sundling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute Allan Nyqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timmy Dahlman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47th play minutes Peter Sundling shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Greger Martinsson and just under the crossbar into goal. The Vattubrinken players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Grimsås FK were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peter Sundling stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Herman Olsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Herman Olsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 63rd minute, Allan Nyqvist fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Peter Sundling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ingvar Samuelsson hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Peter Sundling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Claes Möllgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Greger Martinsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claes Möllgren ran back to his position shaking his head. After 87 minutes of play Grimsås FK's Ingvar Samuelsson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 87th match minute, Grimsås FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Samuelsson to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, Vattubrinken's David Lindgren broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Grimsås FK booed when Vattubrinken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Axelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute, Åke Berggren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Vattubrinken supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Grimsås FK's performance. The match ended with a win for Grimsås FK.
