Gösta Ugla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the match, BK Skunksnor's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Lindberg came free, but Jens Törnqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, BK Skunksnor's Leif Snäll got a free kick in the 18th minute. Eric Bogren hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Anton Löfgren's late challenge caught a BK Skunksnor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anton Löfgren helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute, Anton Löfgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Anders Hermansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31st minute Anders Hermansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Torsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Anders Hermansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ingemar Olsson hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Anders Hermansson sped through Jespers IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anders Torsberg. Jens Törnqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Lindberg in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nils Lindberg to make the kick off. In the 63rd match minute, Jespers IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börge Lundgren to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Jespers IF's Eric Bogren got a free kick in the 67th minute. When BK Skunksnor's Anders Hermansson in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Anders Torsberg made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Gösta Ugla sent off a good shot on target. After 78 played minutes Jespers IF got a freekick which was hit by Ingemar Olsson. Nils Lindberg kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Anders Torsberg was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Stefan Svartengren. After 84 minutes, Börje Höijer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jespers IF and the BK Skunksnor players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 85 played minutes Jespers IF got a freekick which was hit by Börje Höijer. Anders Hermansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Torsberg having to interfere. With a little luck, Jespers IF's Anders Torsberg got control of the ball when Gösta Ugla tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Jespers IF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching BK Skunksnor's performance. The match ended with a win for BK Skunksnor.
