Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Lannavaara IF's Claes Jönsätt started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Per-Arne Thedin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Tunander having to interfere. Alf Lundström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Fred Asklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Arman Bergman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walter Tunander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claes Jönsätt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arman Bergman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Per-Arne Thedin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Walter Tunander made a huge save. Per-Arne Thedin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Walter Tunander skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claes Jönsätt in the 26th minute of play forced Viken's goalkeeper Walter Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Claes Jönsätt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arman Bergman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Fred Asklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute Arman Bergman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Asklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Christian Sandberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fred Asklund. Lannavaara IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Sandberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Walter Tunander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claes Jönsätt in the 54th minute of play. Walter Tunander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Arne Thedin in the 60th minute of the match. When Alfred Sjöberg fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viken's protests and gave Alfred Sjöberg a yellow card for diving instead. Alfred Sjöberg hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After 69 minutes, Erik Andersson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lannavaara IF and the Viken players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th minute, Erik Andersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bengt-Åke Lövkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. When Per-Arne Thedin came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Lannavaara IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Arne Thedin couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lannavaara IF's goalkeeper Fred Asklund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Lannavaara IF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Viken's performance. The match ended with a win for Viken.
