Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alf Lundström started the match with the kick off. If Alf Lundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robin Holm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Lundström, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Viken's Arman Bergman got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the game, Alexander Lundgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Varnhem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Viken the free kick. 15 minutes into the game, one of Varnhem:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Lukas Samuelsson hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Varnhem's Oscar Walroth got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sven Myr charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven Myr the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sven Myr kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Karl-Oskar Pil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robin Holm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Lundström in the 33rd minute of the match. The supporters of Varnhem booed when Viken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukas Samuelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Viken's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Wik came free, but Walter Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Viken's zone, Oscar Walroth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walter Tunander came out of the goal and Oscar Walroth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Viken's Walter Tunander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Wik in the 45th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Douglas Wik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Walter Tunander was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The supporters of Varnhem booed when Viken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Sjöberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oscar Walroth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the game, Oscar Walroth recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Walter Tunander. Oscar Walroth showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Viken's Christian Sandberg got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 61 played minutes Alexander Lundgren shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Viken's Walter Tunander to catch but Alexander Lundgren was lucky. It became 1-2 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. If Douglas Wik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Douglas Wik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Oscar Walroth came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Varnhem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Walroth couldn't finish the play. If Oscar Walroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Christian Sandberg kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Douglas Wik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Walter Tunander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar Walroth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute.
