In the 14th minute Dennis Svensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats Hammarbäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dennis Svensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mats Hammarbäck having to interfere. Oskar Askestät was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, one of Älghult:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Älghult. Adrian Åkesson shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Mattias Söderqvist struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Mats Hammarbäck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Älghult. Älghult's Ove Linberg got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Olof Dahlkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the game, David Falck lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Georg Isaksson. Älghult's Georg Isaksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Strandberg in the 46th minute of play. David Falck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Älghult getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Karl Bergqvist hit a great ball. In the 58th match minute, Älghult was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Askelöf to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute of the match Adrian Åkesson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Georg Isaksson skillfully saved the ball. After 66 minutes of play, Nyhammar bk's Anders Strandberg made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Georg Isaksson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anders Strandberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Georg Isaksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 played minutes Älghult got a freekick which was hit by Olof Dahlkvist. When Olof Dahlkvist came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Älghult fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olof Dahlkvist couldn't finish the play. In the 88th match minute, Nyhammar bk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Åkesson to maneuver through the defense. Ove Linberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Mats Hammarbäck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Ove Linberg made a precise shot to the right of Mats Hammarbäck. Nyhammar bk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 96 minutes, Ove Linberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Älghult and the Nyhammar bk players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Älghult's Ove Linberg got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Nyhammar bk could leave the field as winners, despite Älghult having more of the ball for most of the match.
