Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aron Bergqvist started the match with the kick off. Aron Bergqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Martin Lind tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 4 played minutes Rydboholm got a freekick which was hit by Rickard Sundberg. Torbjörn Vennerberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lennart Skytt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Christer Henriksson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Real Madrid's zone, Torbjörn Vennerberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christer Henriksson came out of the goal and Torbjörn Vennerberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the match, Lennart Skytt notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Real Madrid's Christer Henriksson. Christer Henriksson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Christer Henriksson stood somewhat misplaced when Torbjörn Vennerberg came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 25 minute. In the 32nd minute Hjalmar Bern shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Lind saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Rydboholm's zone, Hjalmar Bern stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Lind came out of the goal and Hjalmar Bern tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torbjörn Vennerberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hjalmar Bern got free with Martin Lind in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute Lennart Skytt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Henriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rydboholm's Martin Lind proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Rydboholm from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Rydboholm getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Bo Gunnarsson hit a great ball. Rydboholm's Martin Lind played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Bergqvist in the 61st minute of play. Tommy Bohlin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Christer Henriksson. Real Madrid's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Torbjörn Vennerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Henriksson having to interfere. Rydboholm's Lennart Skytt got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Real Madrid booed when Rydboholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo Gunnarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Aron Bergqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aron Bergqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Hjalmar Bern got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martin Lind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aron Bergqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
