After 18 played minutes, Backa Allstars's Jörgen Nordmark shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roger Eriksson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Backa Allstars reached it. Arvid Jernberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Backa Allstars's Leonardo Groth got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valter Vestberg acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 30th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Freddie Skarkman. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Ove Hylander got free with Valter Vestberg in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th minute, Michael Hjortberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Valter Vestberg. The goal made the score 1-0. Sven-Ove Hylander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. In the 76th match minute, Backa Allstars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Lindgren to maneuver through the defense. Valter Vestberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arvid Jernberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michael Hjortberg's late challenge caught a Backa Allstars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michael Hjortberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Backa Allstars booed when Hållsta BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Hjortberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Backa Allstars's zone, Joakim Johansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valter Vestberg came out of the goal and Joakim Johansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sven-Ove Hylander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute.
