Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Karl-Åke Malm started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dan Kvist during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Balltorps FF booed when Lekeryd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Kvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valentin Alberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Birger Kvick read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. When Bengt Fredriksson fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balltorps FF's protests and gave Bengt Fredriksson a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Balltorps FF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Birger Kvick, was totally fooled by Lekeryd's Henry Jonsson, who 17 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 20 minutes of play, Balltorps FF's Karl-Åke Malm made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Peter Hagström was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kevin Askelöf during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Balltorps FF getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Kevin Askelöf hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Lekeryd's Dan Kvist got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Tim Axelsson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lekeryd's Peter Hagström didn't even have to move. When the match had been going on for 32 minutes, Lekeryd's Henry Jonsson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Birger Kvick. When Per-Erik Tidéksson came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Lekeryd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Erik Tidéksson couldn't finish the play. Peter Hagström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Hurtig in the 45th minute of play.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Per-Erik Tidéksson to strike the kick off in the second half. Arne Hurtig was extremely unlucky when he, in the 57th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 60 minutes into the match, Balltorps FF's Karl-Åke Malm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peter Hagström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Per-Erik Tidéksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd match minute, Balltorps FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Askelöf to maneuver through the defense. If Alfons Törnblom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peter Hagström was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Karl-Åke Malm capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Karl-Åke Malm really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Balltorps FF's Kevin Askelöf got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Per-Erik Tidéksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birger Kvick having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Per-Erik Tidéksson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Robert Örtendal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lekeryd's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Örtendal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Birger Kvick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lekeryd were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Balltorps FF for a fine match.
