Anders Nordstedt struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Nils-Emil Svensson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Falkenberg. Ture Valler kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Nils-Emil Svensson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 29th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gustav Kellbom. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Pihlblad in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nils-Erik Stenberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Visseltofta BF booed when Falkenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Hermansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Falkenberg's zone, Jan-Åke Mossberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan-Åke Mossberg to make the kick off. Ludwig Widberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. In the 61st minute Stig-Arne Bergren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Emil Svensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan-Åke Mossberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nils-Erik Stenberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Jan-Åke Mossberg slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 70th minute. The supporters of Falkenberg booed when Visseltofta BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredric Burman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Folke Bergqvist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nils-Emil Svensson. Visseltofta BF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nils-Erik Stenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Åke Mossberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Visseltofta BF's goalkeeper Nils-Emil Svensson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stig-Arne Bergren struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Nils-Emil Svensson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Falkenberg. 94 minutes into the match, Visseltofta BF's Jan-Åke Mossberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nils-Erik Stenberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Falkenberg defense, Ludwig Widberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nils-Erik Stenberg. The Falkenberg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nils-Erik Stenberg should have stopped the shot. The Visseltofta BF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Visseltofta BF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
