Kullavik RK's Sten Lindgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Kullavik RK from getting a goal against them. Anton Isaksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Sten Lindgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lyrestad's Harry Utfal got a free kick in the 15th minute. When Kullavik RK's Nicklas Hermansson in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Vincent Kihlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Kullavik RK's zone, Anton Isaksson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sten Lindgren came out of the goal and Anton Isaksson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Håkan Åkerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute of the match, Anton Isaksson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sten Lindgren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 43rd minute, Leonardo Göransson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Lyrestad's Anton Isaksson in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kullavik RK's goalie prevented a goal. 47 minutes into the game, Johannes Salkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kullavik RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lyrestad the free kick. After a rather tough play, Kullavik RK's Johannes Salkvist got a free kick in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vincent Kihlberg to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Åkerberg in the 54th minute of play forced Kullavik RK's goalkeeper Sten Lindgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Håkan Åkerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Sten Lindgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Hjalmar Bergman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 played minutes Kullavik RK got a freekick which was hit by Rune Ström. In the 61st minute of the match Elof Strandberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sten Lindgren showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Håkan Åkerberg came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Lyrestad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Håkan Åkerberg couldn't finish the play. If Leonardo Göransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Johannes Salkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Håkan Åkerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Håkan Åkerberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sten Lindgren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sten Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Isaksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Nicklas Hermansson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Sonny Österlund skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lyrestad's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
