Adrian Skarkman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arne Vennerkvist. Hörby's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Stockholm Snakes's Sebastian Gustafsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Stockholm Snakes from getting a goal against them. Eric Kaxe kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Stockholm Snakes's zone, Karl-Erik Klint stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Gustafsson came out of the goal and Karl-Erik Klint tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eric Kaxe charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eric Kaxe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th minute, Eric Kaxe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stockholm Snakes's Sebastian Gustafsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Stockholm Snakes from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Torgny Sjöberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arne Vennerkvist was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Arne Vennerkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Alin in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th match minute, Stockholm Snakes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Kaxe to maneuver through the defense. Torgny Sjöberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Arne Vennerkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgar Alin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Hörby's Mårten Wallin got a free kick in the 37th minute. Stockholm Snakes were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Hörby's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adrian Skarkman took the corner. Stockholm Snakes's Adrian Skarkman was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arne Vennerkvist in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 43 minutes into the match, Stockholm Snakes's Torgny Sjöberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arne Vennerkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adrian Skarkman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arne Vennerkvist. Hörby's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tord Fridlund hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Torgny Sjöberg made a kick off. Sebastian Gustafsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Erik Klint's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 64th minute, Karl-Erik Klint got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgar Alin scored 0-2 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arne Vennerkvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 70th minute Åke Cane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Gustafsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Åke Cane came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Hörby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Åke Cane couldn't finish the play. Eric Kaxe kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Karl-Erik Klint struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Sebastian Gustafsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hörby. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Åke Cane managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hörby's supporters rose to their feet, but Åke Cane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Gustafsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Åke Cane blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastian Gustafsson having to make a save. If Karl-Erik Klint had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Hörby booed when Stockholm Snakes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tord Fridlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian Gustafsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Erik Klint, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Stockholm Snakes were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Hörby's much stronger midfield.
