Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Elof Fristedt got the match started through his kick off. Anton Vassenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kasper Forsberg in the 14th minute of play. Mattias Igelström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Vassenius having to interfere. Anton Vassenius made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Mattias Igelström sent off a good shot on target. After 25 minutes, Johannes Bergström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lokomotiv Kiev and the Marieholm players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Melker Ström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32ndth minute of the game Melker Ström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lokomotiv Kiev's Anton Vassenius was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mattias Igelström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anton Vassenius having to make a save. Lokomotiv Kiev's Anton Vassenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kasper Forsberg in the 40th minute of play. Mattias Igelström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anton Vassenius having to make a save. Melker Ström struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Anton Vassenius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marieholm. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Melker Ström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Lokomotiv Kiev was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Magnusson to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Kiev's Isaac Lövkvist broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 60 minutes into the match, Marieholm's goal looked a bit too open when Elof Fristedt came free, but Yngve Bennet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mattias Igelström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Anton Vassenius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melker Ström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Vassenius having to interfere. Mattias Igelström charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mattias Igelström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 69 minutes into the match, Marieholm's goal looked a bit too open when Elof Fristedt came free, but Yngve Bennet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elof Fristedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the game, Mattias Igelström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Anton Vassenius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anton Vassenius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melker Ström in the 78th minute of the match. Anton Vassenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melker Ström, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. If Mattias Igelström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anton Vassenius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melker Ström in the 86th minute of the match. Mattias Igelström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Anton Vassenius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Elof Fristedt came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Lokomotiv Kiev fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elof Fristedt couldn't finish the play.
