Lennart Westerberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Sven-Olof Fernström made a huge save. Mattias Hedvall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Lennart Westerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ornö FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Lennart Westerberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Olof Fernström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roland Svensson kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Walter Norström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colo Colo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walter Norström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Hjalmar Kruse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Olof Fernström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Hedvall in the 26th minute of the match. Lennart Westerberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Colo Colo booed when Ornö FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helge Boström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hjalmar Kruse in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomas Björk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 32 minutes, Johannes Haglund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mattias Hedvall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Olof Fernström having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lennart Westerberg got free with Sven-Olof Fernström in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute Johannes Haglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Björk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Johannes Haglund made a precise shot to the right of Tomas Björk. Ornö FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mattias Hedvall was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th minute Lennart Westerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Olof Fernström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johannes Haglund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven-Arne Hammarström hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Colo Colo's Sven-Olof Fernström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Hedvall in the 78th minute of play. Sven-Olof Fernström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Hedvall, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. If Hjalmar Kruse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johannes Haglund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomas Björk having to make a save. 84 minutes into the match, Colo Colo's Johannes Haglund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomas Björk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 86th match minute, Ornö FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lennart Westerberg to maneuver through the defense. After 92 played minutes Ornö FK got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Hedvall. 94 minutes into the game, Mats Månsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ornö FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colo Colo the free kick. After 95 played minutes Ornö FK got a freekick which was hit by Mats Månsson. Colo Colo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
