Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kurt Jonasson started the match with the kick off. When Johannes Haglund came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Colo Colo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johannes Haglund couldn't finish the play. Johannes Haglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Börje Norberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walter Norström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Börje Norberg. Svärdsjö RK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sven-Olof Fernström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Jonasson in the 11th minute of the match. Edwin Bergman kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Hjalmar Kruse could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Börje Norberg made a huge save. Börje Norberg acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 16th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ernst Billvall. After 19 minutes, Mattias Nordin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Colo Colo and the Svärdsjö RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Colo Colo's Mattias Nordin got a free kick in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Per-Åke Stenberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. A very good chance. After 29 played minutes Svärdsjö RK got a freekick which was hit by Pär Rolandsson. If Per-Åke Stenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Hjalmar Kruse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börje Norberg having to interfere. Johannes Haglund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Jonasson in the 59th minute of play forced Colo Colo's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Fernström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jesper Odeen charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jesper Odeen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Svärdsjö RK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Colo Colo:s goal. The referee gave Colo Colo a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Walter Norström, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Svärdsjö RK's Börje Norberg. 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hjalmar Kruse in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Börje Norberg saved Svärdsjö RK from getting behind. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Svärdsjö RK's goalkeeper Börje Norberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Johannes Haglund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Börje Norberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Haglund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kurt Jonasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Olof Fernström having to interfere. A collision led to Colo Colo getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Rikard Tunberg hit a great ball. Per-Åke Stenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
