Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rune Eliasson started the match with the kick off. Verner Hansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Verner Hansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Husqvarna FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Verner Hansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sixten Lindström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sigvard Brun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sixten Lindström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Verner Hansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Sixten Lindström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute Verner Hansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixten Lindström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alf Lundhberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Eliasson in the 28th minute of play forced Husqvarna FF's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Larsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Verner Hansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixten Lindström having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Verner Hansson in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sixten Lindström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sixten Lindström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Verner Hansson in the 37th minute of the match. Karl-Åke Boberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Verner Hansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Sixten Lindström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Verner Hansson made the kick off in the second half. Ludvig Sjöström kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in IFKGBG's zone, Karl-Åke Boberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sixten Lindström came out of the goal and Karl-Åke Boberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. IFKGBG's Sixten Lindström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Verner Hansson in the 57th minute of play. Karl-Åke Boberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Sixten Lindström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl-Åke Boberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Sixten Lindström skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 65th minute, Mattias Strömberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the last second Sixten Lindström throw himself and got hold of the ball when Verner Hansson in the 67thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by IFKGBG's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Andreas Frisck was slow to take the kick. During this time Husqvarna FF's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Husqvarna FF's Rasmus Helander getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 72nd minute, Håkan Håkansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Husqvarna FF booed when IFKGBG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Håkan Håkansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl-Åke Boberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Sixten Lindström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Karl-Åke Boberg came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Husqvarna FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Åke Boberg couldn't finish the play. Husqvarna FF's Karl-Åke Boberg got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Husqvarna FF's Jens-Ola Larsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Strömberg in the 91st minute of play. Rune Eliasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ola Larsson having to interfere.
