Edmund Termander started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sune Smed during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Årjäng booed when Ruda BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sune Smed didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Ruda BF's Jan-Erik Ahlbeck got a free kick in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Jens-Ola Colin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ruda BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Årjäng the free kick. Jens-Ola Colin hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Fabian Asklund sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ruda BF's Joseph Öberg didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, Ruda BF's Jan-Erik Ahlbeck got a free kick in the 13th minute. Årjäng's Fabian Asklund shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 14th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Joseph Öberg but with some difficulty. Villiam Sandell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Alf Berglund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Årjäng's Joar Magnusson got a free kick in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Årjäng's Edmund Termander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joseph Öberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bengt-Rune Olofsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ingvar Ekerot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Öberg having to interfere.
