Christer Vestberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Magnusson in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Arvin Sandström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th match minute, Stora Höga BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Magnusson to maneuver through the defense. If Erik Magnusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, ÖstersIF's Michael Alström got a free kick in the 24th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Stora Höga BK's Erik Magnusson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christer Vestberg. That made the score 1-0 after 25 minutes of play. In the 30th minute Erik Magnusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Vestberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sten Finman in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger Karlstedt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sten Finman to strike the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 51 in the game by Adam Dahlberg from a close distance when the talented Roger Karlstedt managed to make a qualified save. Stora Höga BK's players were relieved. Erik Magnusson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Stora Höga BK booed when ÖstersIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Markusson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stora Höga BK were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after ÖstersIF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Samuel Caspersson took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Samuel Caspersson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Christer Vestberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Erik Magnusson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Vestberg having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Magnusson in the 61st minute of play forced ÖstersIF's goalkeeper Christer Vestberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Elias Markusson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roger Karlstedt. Elias Markusson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Christer Vestberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erik Magnusson's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Arvin Sandström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Magnusson in the 80th minute of play forced ÖstersIF's goalkeeper Christer Vestberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 82 minutes, Kent Vallander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stora Höga BK and the ÖstersIF players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Stora Höga BK getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Kent Vallander hit a great ball. When Arvin Sandström fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stora Höga BK's protests and gave Arvin Sandström a yellow card for diving instead. Arvin Sandström hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Stora Höga BK fully deserved thier win.
