The referee ignored Tärendö's protests and gave Göran Eriksson a yellow card for diving instead. If Max Vollander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th match minute, Tärendö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Rudqvist to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Tärendö's zone, Ian Salqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timmy Kollberg came out of the goal and Ian Salqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Max Vollander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Timmy Kollberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ian Salqvist went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Leo Tillman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uno Koch in the 17th minute of the match. Tärendö's Timmy Kollberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Vollander in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Göran Eriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ian Salqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timmy Kollberg having to interfere. The supporters of Tärendö booed when Kearushe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar Björk didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 played minutes, Tärendö's Kim Jonasson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leo Tillman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tärendö reached it. If Uno Koch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With 30 minutes on the clock, Kristian Olenberg commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Leo Tillman went to the wrong direction when Kim Jonasson was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 34th minute, Göran Eriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Bror Gustavsson fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tärendö's protests and gave Bror Gustavsson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tärendö getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Bror Gustavsson hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Uno Koch dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leo Tillman, 1-1. Tärendö's Jarl Håkansson got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ian Salqvist to make the kick off. With a little luck, Tärendö's Timmy Kollberg got control of the ball when Ian Salqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Kearushe's goal looked a bit too open when Jarl Håkansson came free, but Leo Tillman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ian Salqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timmy Kollberg having to interfere. Leo Tillman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarl Håkansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kearushe's zone, Jarl Håkansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Tillman came out of the goal and Jarl Håkansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tärendö's Magnus Rudqvist suffered a concussion in the 73rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Valdemar Björk fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kearushe's protests and gave Valdemar Björk a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Kearushe getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Valdemar Björk hit a great ball. Uno Koch's late challenge caught a Kearushe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Uno Koch helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th match minute, Tärendö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uno Koch to maneuver through the defense. When Rune Gulliksson fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tärendö's protests and gave Rune Gulliksson a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tärendö! Tärendö:s Timmy Kollberg showed great skill when he stopped Jonny Gustavsson:s penalty. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
